Cinematic Wedding & Couples film and Digital Photography in New York City
If you're dreaming of art-forward photos + Video, we're going to be a good fit.
-
Love a cinematic romantic feeling? Me too.
-
Do you love a variety of edits and approaches? Photography today is about knowing how to get professional photos with the correct lighting, but it's also about knowing how to create images that are artistically funky, blurry, flash-heavy. I love to give my clients a mix of film, digital photos, and video that all have different moods and feelings, whether using natural light or studio lighting.
-
My photos show an elevated version of you.
-
If you value feeling seen, celebrated, and known by your photographer, perfect. Your investment is in both my relational gifting and my artistic gifting.
-
I'm a photographer who feels more like a friend than a vendor, when it comes down to it, that really affects how your photos turn out.

Variety Storytelling
Stine Creative offers you a hybrid gallery: Film Photos, Digital Photos, and Video.
Most photographers offer one medium. I offer three.
Digital photography: Clean, timeless images.
35mm film: Grainy nostalgia and romance.
Short highlight films: Little cinematic moments from your day.
Together they create a layered story of your relationship.

A Love letter to New York City
I run up and down Manhattan listening to movie soundtracks imagining scenes.
I read books on the subway.
I cry at Broadway shows.
I write essays and poems about my life in this city.
And when couples step in front of my camera, I photograph them the way New York feels to me —
cinematic, nostalgic, and wildly alive.

I'm the right photographer for couples who:
-
Want artistic photos, not cookie-cutter wedding perfectly posed photos.
-
Love a funky vibey photo just as much as a film or digital photo
-
Want photos that feel like a film scene
-
Value connection with their photographer
-
Want both film and digital
Your session might look like:
-
Riding the ferry
-
Running across crosswalks
-
Sipping cappucinos at your local bodega or cafe
-
Stopping for pizza
-
Walking through Central Park at sunset
-
Taking a romantic stroll down the Hudson during blue hour
-
Staying in your home and photographing the real things you would do throughout the day together.
your love story, but cinematic:
My approach to my photo sessions starts with giving you a vision to be present with one another first. Offering you prompts that will make it feel candid and natural, and then, once you're loose and feeling less awkward, giving you more direction for editorial looks and poses that might feel "more outside the box" and non-traditional.

Questions to ask your wedding photographer during a consultation
If you’re planning an intimate City Hall Wedding or a multi-day wedding celebration, it's helpful to know how to approach a photography consultation when interviewing your photographer. I think a lot of that comes down to what questions you're asking and what questions your photographer is answering without being asked.

what your dating profile photos needs to get swipes
In NYC, where people swipe through hundreds of profiles a week, a generic gym selfie doesn’t make you stand out — it makes you invisible. As a New York City dating profile photographer, this isn't just my opinion, this is something I continually hear from people on Instagram and within my own friend circle.
I've got all the tips for you to improve your dating profile photo game.

Cinematic moody maternity photo session in brooklyn
This is so much more than an at-home maternity photo session in Park Slope Brooklyn. This is Shirley and Jose embracing the last few weeks of "just us". As a photographer and artist, it's a privlege to really let couples embrace their photo sessions in the ways they feel lead. For these two, having quiet moments of just holding onto one another or feeling their baby kick... that's what they really wanted. To be together.

10+ Years of taking photos that make you you feel seen & celebrated
I photographed my first wedding in a backyard in Texas in 2014! I photographed many Texas barn weddings filled with barbeque and line dancing. But New York City is where I've really found a love for intimate and petite city weddings that are non-traditional and don't have to fit one particular wedding vibe. I now photograph weddings and elopements in New York City, the Tri-State area, Texas, and beyond. I approach each wedding as more than just a vendor — I’m a creative artist and a calming presence.

Whether you're proposing, newly engaged, or just celebrating your love “just because,” New York City is the most romantic backdrop for your story. For both engagement and romantic couples sessions, we’ll roam the city together — riding the ferry, sharing pizza, kissing in crosswalks, lingering at cafés — while I quietly create art out of your memories.
I’ll guide you with gentle prompts and direction, maybe brin gia funky light or two-- always with the goal of making your photos feel nostalgic, modern, romantic, and unmistakably you.
