For over a decade, she has photographed love stories across the country — capturing more than 50 weddings and over 300 couples sessions along the way. Her photography career began in Texas in 2012, documenting weddings, engagements, graduations, and small businesses before eventually bringing her storytelling approach to New York City in 2019.

Today, Stacie works primarily with couples who want their photos to have a mix of vibes: artistic, cinematic, candid, and editorial. Stacie's typical couples need a photographer for their City Hall wedding, intimate wedding, romantic adventure in the city, a Central Park proposal, or a romantic photo session while traveling to NYC.

Stacie doesn't think a photo session has to be one thing or produce one product, which is why she offers a hybrid approach to storytelling: digital photography, 35mm film photography, and short highlight films that feel like little pieces of cinema. The goal is simple — to create images and films that reflect the real texture of a couple’s relationship: playful, imperfect, emotional, and uniquely theirs.

Every session looks a little bit different because every person and every couple is different. The photos match the couple's vibe. That's why Stacie stands by her art-forward approach. She starts with prompts to make your session look candid, but is always excited to jump in with specific posing if a couple needs it or feels they want more direction, especially if when it comes to delivering photos that are more editorial/feel like they could be found in a magazine.

When she’s not photographing couples around the city, Stacie is usually living a quieter New York life — taking long runs up and down Manhattan, reading a book on the subway, writing essays and poems about her life in New York City, or staying in with a cozy blanket and her dog, Tonks. She loves Broadway shows, slow mornings with her husband Brett, and going to the movies.

Why do couples hire you?

  • There's nothing like feeling like you're in a 90's romcom set in NYC-- my couples love to experience that firsthand.

  • Sooooo many of my 2025 couples were interested in both photo and video-- hybrid media is where social media is headed, plus it's just fun to have a little short film to show your friends and family.

  • Couples need guidance without stiff posing- that's my favorite way to direct!

  • I'm a chill disarming presence on wedding days. Any day really. I know how to bring high energy, but my real secret weapon is my low energy that gives you space to be present with one another.

  • I have experience with intimate NYC weddings and know how to help couples plan out their timeline to work with NYC travel,

What do you think is the most important thing you offer your clients in 2026?

Empathy that they might feel awkward or nervous in front of a camera-- I remember sweating through my own engagement session back in 2012 I was so nervous.

I love to break the ice at the beginning of our session so you don't have to sweat through your photos like I did.

I send you intentional questions about you (as a couple) before the session so I can really cater your session to fit your vibe.

I also always hear from couples how grateful they are that I'm so disarming. I really do give off that "we've been friends" forever vibe because I'm so authentically secure in who I am and value SO much that people feel at ease around me whether I'm working or not.

Since you connect with and create so much cinematic work, what movies are you most inspired by?

I have loved movies since I first heard the surround sound roar of the T-Rex in Jurassic Park back in the 90's. I grew up on Sci-Fi and BBC original series.

I actually always ask my clients what their favorite movies, shows, and literature are (even if it's Vanderpump Rules or something dumb like that). Movies, tv, and books connect us and give us little windows into who someone is. All that to say, my faves are:

For cinematic shots and lighting (but be careful, because this movie will make you hungry): The Taste of Things

For story and romance: About Time

Because I'm a nerd: The Lord of the Rings trilogy
